In Manville, an incident unfolded early Wednesday morning as an Amazon tractor-trailer collided with a railroad bridge. According to Manville Police Lt. John Crater, the truck was traveling northbound on Main Street when the collision occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Brian Parrish from Mooresville, PA was operating the truck at the time. Due to the impact, the truck needed to be unloaded and subsequently reloaded onto another Amazon truck. Mike’s Heavy-Duty Towing was called in to remove the stuck vehicle from the scene.
Fortunately, after four hours of dealing with the aftermath, the Main Street train underpass was reopened at around 6:40 a.m.
Remarkably, this isn’t the first instance of a truck encountering trouble at this particular bridge. In 2020, a Walmart truck suffered a similar fate, crashing into the same bridge.
