Authorities responded to an accident in Orinda on Wednesday evening, where a white BMW SUV crashed into a Federal Express office. The incident occurred sometime late in the morning, and footage captured by KPIX photographer Brian Yuen revealed the aftermath of the crash, showing the SUV’s front end protruding through the window of the office located on the 100 block of Camino Sobrante.
Prior to coming to a stop, the vehicle had driven over a flower planter situated in front of a side window of the office. The cause of the collision remains unknown at this time. Yuen observed that a person seemed to be receiving medical attention from the Moraga-Orinda Fire paramedic unit, while an Orinda police vehicle also arrived at the scene.
